In the closing stages, Cádiz pushed for an equaliser, but Ter Stegen remained composed, making a crucial save to preserve Barcelona's lead. The Blaugrana's defence held firm until the final whistle, securing a clean sheet and their sixth consecutive league win.
Despite the narrow margin of victory, Barcelona's performance showcased the resilience of their squad, providing optimism for the remainder of the season under manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
