The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO) Africa have joint efforts to ensure that players on the African continent receive better pay.

“CAF is committed to promoting and advancing the interests and rights of our football players, clubs, national teamsand all football stakeholders on the African Continent,” Motsepe stated.
“The biggest investment we can make is in our football players and youth football."
FIFPRO Africa President Geremie Njitap commended Dr. Motsepe's leadership and the collaboration between FIFPRO and CAF, stating, "Footballers are proud about what we see at CAF today.”
