2024 Olympic Qualifiers CAF appoints Tanzania officials for Uganda-Rwanda game

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Tanzania officials to take charge of Uganda’s crunch tie against Rwanda in the 2024 Paris Olympics women’s qualifiers.

Uganda hosts Rwanda in Kigali, July 12 at the Pele Stadium in the first leg encounter. 

Jonesia Rukyaa Kabakama will be the centre referee, assisted by Charles Janet Balama and Glory John Tesha as first and second match assistants respectively. 

Nuru Tatu Malogo will be the fourth official while Lukusa Kanjinga as referees’ assessor.

Due to lack of a CAF certified stadium, Uganda will host the first leg in Rwanda, Kigali at the Pele Stadium before facing off for the return leg July 16 at the same venue.

The aggregate winner will face Cameroon in the second round of the qualifiers.

The Olympic Games are slated for July 26-August 11, 2025 in France capital, Paris
