CAF has given clubs that will compete in the Champions League and Confederations Cup up to the end of July to register their players.

The continental body has revealed that the clubs were allowed to register players from July 1st-31st.
“No replacement of players is allowed after 31st July except for the four players that can be replaced in January (if they have not been fielded in any Interclub match during the season),” CAfF warned.

The sponsorship package worth $1,250,000 (over Shs4.5B) for five years will be unveiled on July 27th at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
The second registration period will open from August 1st to 31st for the second preliminary round, while the third registration will open in September ahead of the group stages.
The last window will coincide with the January transfer, where only a maximum of seven players who have not yet featured for any other club can be registered.
CAF has allowed clubs to register up to 40 players instead of 30 and maintained the five-substitutions rule.

The first preliminary round will be played between August 18th and 27th, while the second runs from September 15th to October 1st.
