The Benin Football Federation (FBF) recently made the decision to relinquish its hosting duties, for the assembly, originally scheduled for 13th July 2023 in Cotonou, the capital city of Benin.

Important to note that the previous Ordinary Assembly was hosted by Tanzania in Arusha, in August 2022.
"Kenya expressed their keen interest in hosting the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly (OGA) after Benin's withdrawal through a formal letter," disclosed an insider from the Benin FA.
CAF has responded positively to Kenya's proposal, and ongoing discussions with the FKF are underway.
