Lookman valuation increases
Over the past year, Lookman has had a sharp rise, solidifying his position as one of Nigeria's most valuable football players and taking centre stage alongside Victor Osimhen, who is still ranked first with a €75 million valuation.
Lookman was valued at €30 million at the beginning of 2024, which was low because he was not yet at his best.
However, according to Transfermarkt's latest update, after an exceptional year, his market value increased by €25 million, an astounding 83.33%.
Lookman is currently the 10th most valuable player in Serie A and Atalanta's undeniable crown jewel.
His outstanding performance has also increased the team's overall value by €39.5 million to €487 million.
The 27-year-old is the driving force behind Atalanta's current lead in the table and has been playing at his best for months, having scored eight goals and provided four assists this season.
