Edo Queens lead Group B with four points, and they are now tied with FC Masar.

Edo Queens were held to a goalless draw by Egyptian club FC Masar in their second group-stage match of the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League.

Despite dominating possession and creating several scoring opportunities, the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) club could not find the back of the net.

The West African Football Union (WAFU) B champions remain top of Group B with four points, but FC Masar is now tied on points.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns bounced back from their opening defeat to FC Masar with a convincing 4-0 victory over Commercial Bank FC of Ethiopia.

Edo Queens will face Sundowns in their final group stage match on Saturday. A win for either team could secure their place in the semifinal.

Every club in the competition is guaranteed a participation fee of $150,000 (over 250 million nairas) for the CAF Women's Champions League.

The winner will receive $600,000 (one trillion naira), the runners-up will receive $400,000, and third place will earn $350,000, along with additional monetary incentives.
