'You have lost your passion' — Arsenal legend slams 29-year-old star after Inter defeat
Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has slammed one of the club's stars for having no passion after the Champions League defeat to Inter Milan.
As it happened
Thuram, Dimarco and Barella returned to the starting lineup after missing the 1-0 win against Arsenal in the Champions League.
On the other hand, Napoli were led by Romelu Lukaku in attack after losing 3-0 to Atalanta last weekend.
Inter Milan started the game comfortably, but it was Napoli that got the first goal of the match. Scott McTominay received a pass from Amir Rrahmani before firing home from close range.
Just before the halftime break, Inter got the equaliser. Hakan Calhanoglu collected a good pass and slammed the ball from mid-range into the top right corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
The home team started the second half flying and putting pressure on the Napoli defenders. Their pressure paid off in the 72nd minute when Inter were awarded a penalty.
However, Hakan Calhanoglu, who stepped up to take the penalty, failed to score from the penalty spot after hitting the ball against the post.
Napoli held on until the final whistle was blown and secured a vital point away from home to remain top of the Serie A table.
