Uganda managed to bounce back to winning ways after beating Zanzibar 2-1 in their second match of the CECAFA U18 championship played on Wednesday at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kenya.
Travis Mutyaba and a Zaidi Hamis own-goal ensured the first victory for Uganda in the tournament, having been beaten by Tanzania 1-0 last time out.
On a triumphant afternoon, Uganda capitalized on a fast start to break the deadlock in the 17th minute as Mutyaba struck brilliantly from outside the box into the back of the net.
