The severity of the injury resulted in Moffi missing 37 consecutive games for Nice, spanning 240 days. During this time, he underwent surgery and an extensive rehabilitation program to regain his fitness.
Upon his return, Moffi was introduced as a late substitute, playing the final eight minutes of the match against Monaco.
