National Super League (NSL) table leaders Shabana FC have announced a change in the kickoff time for their highly anticipated match against Kisumu All Stars.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has pushed the match forward to 1 PM instead of the originally scheduled 3 PM on Saturday, 8 July at the revered Simeon Nyachae Stadium.

Shabana took to their social media platforms to communicate the decision, emphasizing that the alteration was made with the aim of avoiding the possibility of the match being rained off.

"Due to high rains being experienced in the western region of the country, the kick-off time for our Final Dance has been moved to 1 pm," stated Shabana.

The Western part of the country, particularly the Gusii region, is renowned for experiencing heavy rainfall during the afternoons.

Several matches, including ones involving NSL sides Gusii and Shabana, have been postponed due to inclement weather conditions at the Simeon Nyachae Stadium.

Just recently, Shabana's match against MCF was affected by the adverse weather, leading to its postponement.

With the NSL title tantalizingly within their grasp, Shabana is determined to prevent any obstacles from impeding their path to glory.

Currently leading the NSL with an impressive 70 points, Shabana has only one match remaining in the season.

A victory against Kisumu All Stars in the upcoming fixture will crown them as the well-deserved champions of the 2022/2023 season.

The stakes have never been higher, and the Glamour Boyz are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of success.

Promotion to the FKF Premier League has already been secured by Shabana, with Murang'a Seal joining them at the table of men.

This additional milestone further fuels their motivation to clinch the NSL title. The team's relentless efforts and remarkable performances throughout the season have positioned them as strong contenders in Kenyan football.
