What Chelle said
Having finally landed what can be described as a dream job, Chelle did not cower at the prospect of leading Nigeria to great success; on the contrary, he spoke boldly about the aspirations of taking the Super Eagles to the World Cup.
“I know the expectations of the Nigerian people, and I am ambitious. I want to win. I’m here to make things right,” Chelle said.
Chelle understands he will be judged on his ability to lead the Super Eagles to the World Cup following the poor start that has left the team languishing in 5th place in a group of six.
He is determined to lead Nigeria to USA/Mexico/Canada 2026 and believes the way to do it is by improving the managerial structure, adopting effective techniques, imbibing aggression, and maintaining focus.
“We need to establish better management structures and adopt effective techniques. We must be aggressive and focused.”
