Enzo Maresca had to make do without key components of his side against Bournemouth in gameweek four.

Chelsea are expected to welcome back several key players for their upcoming match against West Ham United

Chelsea injury news

Enzo Fernandez, Romeo Lavia, Malo Gusto, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall all missed the Blues' 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday with injuries or illness but are nearing returns.

Fernandez, a regular starter for Chelsea this season, missed the match against the Cherries due to illness, but has resumed training and is expected to be available for selection against West Ham.

Likely to be back in action is Gusto — the right-back had to go off against Crystal Palace before the international break due to a suspected thigh injury but was also back in team training on Monday.
