Chelsea pulled another 4-goal win in the European Conference League but how did the players perform?

Chelsea kicked off their Europa Conference League campaign in style, comfortably defeating Belgian side Gent 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues took control early, with Renato Veiga's header giving them the lead within 12 minutes.

Despite a brief fightback from Gent, who equalized momentarily, Chelsea's attacking prowess shone through in the second half with goals from Pedro Neto, Christopher Nkunku, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Although Gent managed a late consolation goal, it was a dominant performance from Enzo Maresca's side, who showcased their strength without key players like Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.

So, how did the Blues' stars perform?

Filip Jorgensen (8/10)

Made several important saves and commanded his area well. Nothing he could do about the goals conceded, but he was solid throughout.

Axel Disasi (7/10)

Contributed defensively and picked up an assist. However, he could have been tighter on the opponent for one of the goals conceded.

Tosin Adarabioyo (7/10)

Had a decent outing, showing his physicality, though he occasionally looked a bit rusty due to limited playing time this season.

Benoit Badiashile (8/10)

A commanding presence in defense, particularly in aerial duels. He consistently cleared the danger and maintained a strong line.

Renato Veiga (9/10)

Impressed with his first goal for the club, scoring a beautifully cushioned header and providing an assist. A standout performer on the left.

Cesare Casadei (6/10)

Struggled to influence the game but held his own in midfield, providing necessary support without making a significant impact.

Kiernan Dewsbury -Hall (9/10)

Eager to make an impression, he scored his first goal for Chelsea and was involved in numerous attacking moves. Showed great determination.

Joao Felix (8/10)

Was the creative spark in the final third, linking play effectively and providing key passes. Just missed out on a goal to cap off a great performance.

Pedro Neto (7/10)

Showcased his speed and technical ability, scoring a well-taken goal. His work rate was commendable, but he could have been more involved at times.

Christopher Nkunku (9/10)

Restored Chelsea's two-goal lead with a powerful finish, demonstrating his clinical edge. Continued to impress with his goal-scoring ability.

Mykhailo Mudryk (7/10)

Provided an assist for the opening goal and played with confidence. However, he faded in the second half and was less impactful.

Marc Guiu (6/10)

Came on late and had minimal impact on the match. Did his best to contribute but was limited in opportunities.

Tyrique George (6/10)

Worked hard but found it difficult to get into the game as Chelsea saw out the match comfortably.

Overall, it was a promising start for Chelsea in the Europa Conference League, with several players showcasing their talent and depth ahead of their next fixtures.
