Enzo Maresca is reportedly interested in reuniting Jadon Sancho with another Manchester United forward in the January transfer window.

Chelsea are reportedly set to abandon their pursuit of Victor Osimhen and make a move for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford in January.

Rashford, who was recently left out of the Manchester derby, has expressed his desire for a new challenge, and United are keen to offload his significant wages to make room for younger, hungrier players.

"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse,” he said in an interview with journalist Henry Winter.

“I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person."When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me.

Rashford to Chelsea?

This development presents an opportunity for Chelsea, who have shown a newfound ability to get the best out of players under manager Enzo Maresca.

The Blues' successful loan signing of Jadon Sancho from United last summer demonstrates their capacity to revive careers, and Rashford at 27, still has plenty left to prove at the highest level.

Former Chelsea player William Gallas has even urged Rashford to make the switch, suggesting it could "save his career"

Chelsea have been linked with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for the past 18 months, but the significant fee involved and recent form of Nicolas Jackson has reduced the club's urgency.

Rashford is a more versatile player, who knows the league and could be an excellent addition to this Chelsea side as they look to push Liverpool all the way in the title race.
