Chelsea look set to complete their first January transfer by signing David Datro Fofana from Molde in a €10million move.
Who is David Datro Fofana?
David Daro Fofana is a 19-year-old Ivorian striker that plays for Norwegian club, Molde. He is enjoying a breakout season, scoring 15 goals and providing a further five assists in 24 appearances.
Fofana has one year left on his current deal and Molde now look set to cash in on the highly rated youngster to avoid losing him for nothing.
Chelsea close to signing Fofana
Chelsea are closing in on total agreement with Molde over the transfer of Fofana for a fee of around €10m. Personal terms are still being discussed between the player and Chelsea but a deal is expected to go through according to Fabrizio Romano
Chelsea are keen to recruit a new attacker after Armando Broja picked up an injury in a recent friendly that will rule him out for the rest of the season.
