Enzo Maresca's Chelsea are in the market for attacking reinforcements and have turned their attention to a Nigerian striker.

Christopher Nkunku could be on his way out of Chelsea, according to recent reports and the Blues are in the market for a new attacker to add depth.

According to Fijaches, the man being targeted is Super Eagles and West Brom striker Josh Maja.

Maja has scored 12 goals and provided two assists for West Brom this season, leading the Baggies to 6th place in the Championship standings.

(function (v, d, o, ai) { ai = d.createElement('script'); ai.defer = true; ai.async = true; ai.src = v.location.protocol + o; d.head.appendChild(ai); })(window, document, '//a.vdo.ai/core/v-pulsesports-ng-v2/vdo.ai.js');
Josh Maja is a man in fine form for WBA.

His performances have caught the eyes of Chelsea, as well as Tottenham who are also in the market for an attacker.

The report further states that Maja could cost the Blues around £15 million, which is a relatively low price for a striker of his quality, especially when compared to the market rate for strikers these days.

Maresca acknowledges that there has been severe wastefulness in front of goal this season, which has derailed their title race.

It remains to be seen whether West Brom are willing to sell their star man in the middle of the season, while pushing for automatic promotion.
