Christian Pulisic is on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge after he reportedly agreed personal terms with AC Milan.

It's no news that the American is planning to depart Stamford Bridge this summer after a struggling and discouraging season with Chelsea.

Given that the American's contract only has one year left, Chelsea runs the risk of losing him for nothing if he doesn't leave this summer.

However, it has been reported that AC Milan have agreed on a deal with Pulisic and what is left is the negotiation between both clubs.

AC Milan set to sign Pulisic

According to ESPN, AC Milan have reached an agreement on a long-term contract with Christian Pulisic, though the transfer fee still needs to be worked out.

As reported, Pulisic will take a hefty wage reduction, and the two teams must agree on an exact fee for the American.

Daily Mail reported that Milan apparently wants to spend no more than $19.6 million, but Chelsea are supposedly holding out for $27.3 million.

Milan is aiming to enhance its ranks with a wealth of attacking potential as they get ready for a hefty windfall with the anticipated departure of star midfielder Sandro Tonali to Newcastle.

Pulisic could join fellow teammate Loftus-Cheek at Milan

Pulisic could also be joining Loftus-Cheek at AC Milan after recently completing his transfer to San Siro a few days ago.

In January 2019, Pulisic made a transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea for $72 million and found it hard to hit the ground running.

Injury setbacks during his time at the Premier League club have prevented him from fully securing a regular spot in the starting Lineup, and the most recent season was no exception.

In 30 games, he scored just one goal and gave two assists and could only manage eight Premier League starts last season.

With AC, Juventus, and Napoli all showing interest, he has been strongly linked with a move to Serie A.
