At Arsenal Academy, Obi became a star, first hitting the headlines for scoring 28 goals in 16 games at the U18 level, breaking Folarin Balogun’s record for the most goals for Arsenal U18s in a campaign, which was 25 set during the 2018/19 campaign.

The 6 foot teenager scored a staggering ten goals in a 14-3 triumph versus the Liverpool under-16s back in November. 

In his debut for the U18s, Obi scored a hat trick in a 4-0 win over Southampton. The striker also scored five against West Ham United, four against Crystal Palace, and four against Fulham.
