Erambo was playing National Super League football as recently as last August, but now has seven Harambee Stars caps to his name since debuting against Malawi in March.

Harambee Stars and Tusker midfielder Chris Erambo has reflected on a breakthrough campaign that saw him not only make his FKF-PL debut but also earn a spot in the national team within a span of 10 months.

Erambo, who was named in Pulse Sports' FKF-PL Team of the Season following his energetic displays in the midfield, has had an unforgettable season.

Making his debut for Kenya against Malawi in March, he has since earned seven more caps, with head coach Engin Firat describing him as a box-to-box midfielder with a lot of potential.

Speaking to the club’s media channels, Erambo reflected on the season with much to be proud of, describing it as a season of learning.

“It has not been a bad season. For me, it has been a season to learn, and I hope it will help us build for the next one,” Erambo said.

“I have grown mentally. I have learnt and grown with every passing game. A couple of positives but we have to look on the bright side of it.”

He continued, “I have been working hard, so it is a reward. I thank God. I need to keep pushing so I can get more opportunities.

“Being named man of the match most times as well as being called up to the national team keeps me motivated and inspired to continue.”

Looking ahead, Erambo has set his sights on winning titles next season.

“We have to go for titles next season because we were not able to achieve that last season. It would have been very nice to walk home with at least a trophy but we did not. We have to go next season and see if we will get something.”

Erambo's reflections highlight his growth and determination, setting a solid foundation for continued success in his promising football career.

Tusker finished last season second on 65 points and were bundled out of the FKF Cup quarter finals at the round of 16 stage.
