Samuel Chukwueze's association with AC Milan could end in January, with the club reportedly open to selling.
Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze could be set for a shock exit from AC Milan in the coming January transfer window, with the Rossoneri reportedly considering his sale.
The 25-year-old electrifying forward joined the Italian outfit at the start of last season. However, he has failed to make the right flank of the Rossoneri attack his own; hence, the club are considering selling him while he still has suitors.

Samuel Chukwueze: Milan flop?
The Nigeria international needed time to settle at his new club when he joined last summer, and when he eventually did, barring excellent showings in the Champions League, when he scored against Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle, the former Villarreal man only managed to show the talent that earned him the €20 million move to the seven-time UCL winners.
Chukwueze only scored one goal in the last season, commanding only twelve starts for the Milan-based side. However, he showed improved form towards the end of the last campaign, with Erstwhile manager Stefano Pioli finding a place for him on the right in a 4-2-3-1 formation that utilises Christian Pulisic, his rival for the right winger role, behind the striker.
Pioli has since gone, and new manager Paulo Fonseca does not seem to share similar ideas. The Portuguese manager prefers to pair Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham up front and field Pulisic on the right, which leaves the Nigerian out of that side.
Milan evaluate a sale
According to Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport, the Milan hierarchy will consider offers for Samuel, despite his having a contract until 2028.
Another report claims the Nigerian is attracting interest from Premier League sides Aston Villa and West Ham. Atletico Madrid are also said to be considering bringing him back to LALIGA, a league where he has thrived.
