Milan struck back with the equaliser in the 15th minute when Tijjani Reijnders found Rafael Leao inside the box, and the Portuguese chipped the ball into the net after spotting the goalkeeper off his line.
Leao then gave his team the lead just before halftime when Youssouf Fofana passed to the Portuguese, who got one-on-one with the keeper and dummy the keeper before lifting the ball over him into the net.
