The Rossoneri are reportedly considering a move for Francisco Conceicao, the son of their current manager, Sergio Conceicao, raising questions about the Nigerian’s role in the squad next season.
Conceicao’s arrival sparks transfer speculation
After replacing Paulo Fonseca, the Portuguese manager has begun shaping his vision for the squad after leading the Rossoneri to their first trophy since 2022.
According to reports, one of the Portuguese manager’s key targets is his son, Francisco Conceicao, a talented winger currently on loan at Juventus from Porto.
Juventus have a verbal agreement to purchase Francisco for €30 million by the end of the season, however, should the Turin giants fail to make the payment, AC Milan are poised to step in.
Chukwueze place under threat
Chukwueze has faced challenges since joining AC Milan from Villarreal, and despite glimpses of his potential in La Liga, the Nigerian winger has struggled for consistency in Serie A.
His absence due to injury was not particularly felt as Conceicao led the Rossoneri to victory in the Italian Super Cup, after defeating Juventus and Inter.
With Conceicao Junior potentially joining Milan next summer, Chukwueze’s future remains up in the air, with Spanish clubs reportedly monitoring the winger, offering him a route back to LaLiga, where his career first flourished.
Nevertheless, Chukwueze hopes to regain his form and convince Sergio Conceicao of his value, ensuring he remains an integral part of Milan's plans.
