Wanjala believes City Stars' title challenge is not over, revealing the specific reason they are capable of pulling a huge upset in the coming weeks.
Nairobi City Stars full back Dennis Wanjala has revealed that the side have not given up on the Premier League title race with just 12 games of the season left to play.
City Stars are 10 points behind leaders Gor Mahia, with four teams tied on those points as the race approaches its final stretch.
The Simba wa Nairobi lost 1-0 to K’ogalo a fortnight ago, but Wanjala is adamant that his teammates still have what it takes to continue pulling surprises after finding themselves in a very good position this year.

FKFPL Analysis : How Gor Mahia’s Austin Odhiambo proved too hot for City Stars to handle
Gor Mahia beat City Stars 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Benson Omala, but this is why Austin Odhiambo was the man that really won them that battle.
“Now we are a blended team and every player is putting in the right shift and constantly seeking to consolidate their position which has upped the fighting spirit and competition. That is keeping us on track for the title,” Wanjala told the club’s website.
Wanjala has blamed the side’s dropped points earlier in the season on new players failing to blend in well in time with the side.
“We were off to a relatively poor start but I have to thank my teammates for coming out set their targets, and collectively for the team.

FKFPL Can Gor Mahia keep up their Posta Rangers dominance?
Gor Mahia are aiming to continue their winning streak against Posta Rangers in a closely contested match on Saturday.
“Part of the challenge that we had earlier was low confidence, a bit of inexperience, and unfamiliarity,” Wanjala said.
Wanjala, now in his third term with City Stars, has featured in exactly half of the games this season – 17 – on his way to clocking 1,212 regular time minutes.
The former Nzoia Sugar player has now earned a record 124 premier league games making him the most experienced player – topflight wise – at City Stars.
