Chelsea's Cole Palmer achieves rare feat, joining Hazard, Silva, and Willian in winning coveted double at end-of-season awards.
Cole Palmer has written his name into Chelsea history books after the in-form forward claimed a prestigious double at the club's end-of-season awards ceremony.
The 21-year-old starlet was voted both Players' Player of the Season and the Club's Player of the Season by his teammates and fans respectively.

Cole Palmer makes Chelsea History
In doing so, Palmer becomes only the fourth Chelsea player ever to win two major awards in the same campaign after Eden Hazard, Thiago Silva and Willian.
“Congratulations to your Men’s Player of the Year - Cole Palmer! A double swoop for our number 20,” Chelsea said in a post on Facebook.
It's a remarkable achievement for the England youth international, who has taken his game to new heights with 24 goals across all competitions this term.
21 of those strikes came in the Premier League, where he also provided nine assists as Chelsea look to put behind them a disappointing campaign with a late European football spot..
Palmer's virtuoso displays have marked him out as one of the brightest young talents in Europe and a future star for the club following his shock move from Manchester City last summer.
His heroics have already drawn comparisons to Chelsea icons of the past after joining such an elite group of individual award winners.
Hazard claimed the rare double in 2014/15, the same season he was named Premier League Player of the Year in his prolific peak at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian's sensational form that year helped fire Chelsea to a Premier League and League Cup double under Jose Mourinho.
Brazilian duo Willian (2017/18) and Silva (2020/21) would later emulate Hazard's feat as they starred during contrasting eras for the Blues.
Now Palmer can count himself among that legendary company after an astonishing breakout season in West London.
The talented 21-year-old has already surpassed 20 goals in his first full campaign as a regular starter, becoming the first player 21 years or younger to be involved in 30 Premier League goals in one season since the start of the century.
