The Premier League have announced an eight-man shortlist for December 2023's Player of the Month award.
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has been nominated for Premier League Player of the Month for December.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has been carrying the club on his back since he arrived in the summer and shone in December, netting a brilliant strike in their loss to Manchester United before notching a goal and assist in the win over Sheffield United. He rounded the month with a well-taken brace against Luton Town.
Palmer, Kudus nominated for Player of the Month
The nominees also include Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, Wolves' Matheus Cunha, Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, Tottenham's Son Heung-Min, Mohammed Kudus, and Bournemouth duo Marcos Senesi and Dominic Solanke.
Solanke has been the man for the goals at Bournemouth, bagging six goals in December, including a first career hat-trick against Nottingham Forest to earn a deserved nomination.
Lastly, Heung-min Son contributed a league-high eight goals in December. He captained an injury-hit Tottenham Hotspur squad to four wins to keep them within touching distance of the top four.
