FC Copenhagen forward Akinkunmi Amoo has been spotted training with Nigeria's U-20 side - the Flying Eagles - in Abuja as they prepare for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Following a thigh injury he sustained in July 2022, the 20-year-old Nigerian midfielder has since been rehabilitation to recover from the long-term injury.

Amoo to join Flying Eagles to Argentina?
As the Flying Eagles continue its preparations for the U-20 World Cup scheduled to start on May 20, the training camp have been boosted by Amoo who has been capped by Nigeria at Under-17 level and once called up by the Super Eagles.
The youngster, although looking overweight on Monday evening, was one among the numerous players who trained at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
According to Danish club Copenhagen, Amoo's injury was to keep him on the sidelines for nine to ten months, which by estimation could see him back in action in May 2023.
Already, Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso has indicated that he would invite 12 foreign players to the camp for the World Cup, stressing that only the best players available to the country would be selected.
