Cromwell Rwothomio has been released from Vipers Sports Club by the Federation of Uganda Football Association Dispute Resolution Chamber.
FUFA has given approval for Rwothomio to be registered with any club of his choice for the 2023/24 season, rendering his contract with Vipers null and void.
Rwothomio is now free to explore last-minute transfer deals for the upcoming season.
He was released by Vipers SC during the transfer window due to being deemed "surplus" to requirements.
Rwothomio's shirt number 17 has been taken by new signing Rodriguez Shamamba for the 2023/24 season squad.
Despite these developments, Rwothomio did not receive a release letter to negotiate a move to a new club.
