Dessers performance leaves an impression
Dessers resumed where he left off in the Champions League, netting the first goal in a 2-1 victory over Motherwell in less than thirteen minutes.
The Rangers striker connected with a Mohamed Diomande cross and finished past Motherwell custodian Aston Oxborough.
An own goal by Robin Propper in the 17th minute cancelled out Dessers' score, but Vaclav Cerny's incredible strike seven minutes later proved to be the game-winning goal.
Speaking on BBC Sportscene after the game, Crichton stated, "Rangers were really good in the first half, so many good individual performances, Vaclav Cerny being the stand-out.
“Connor Barron was excellent and Cyriel Dessers was a handful. But it all fizzled out in the second half."
Leon Balogun and Moses Ebiye came on as second-half substitutes to help clinch the 2-1 win over Motherwell.
