Despite the current state, Obua insists building a style of play will always be top of his targets for as long he's in charge.

URA Football Club head coach David Obua won't be coerced into trading his ideologies for quick-fix results.

It's now two Uganda Premier League games at the helm, and the Uganda Cranes legend is yet to master a win with the Tax Collectors, losing and drawing one apiece.

Despite the current state, Obua insists building a style of play will always be top of his targets for as long he's in charge.

"My target this season is to play good football, and like I said, the results will come with how best we play. I don't want us to panic and start kicking away the ball," he asserted in the lead to their Friday game against Express FC at Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.

"We have to control what we have; I'm not so focused on the result; my success is determined by how these players come on the pitch and give their all."

"They have done that in the games, and I believe we shall dominate the ball because it's the weapon that I can't give away," Obua added.

The former Hearts FC star wants to use his exciting football to attract crowds back into the stadiums.

"I want football to be exciting for the people of Lugazi because they have many fans here, and with good football, we shall attract fans from Mukono, Jinja and all over; we are going to play good football for a very long time."

"I don't want a team that is going to conjure wins; I want to create a team that will play a certain way for a very long time," Obua said.

Against Express, URA will be keen on mastering a synergy of beautiful football and a victory that has evaded them for the past three matches.

The Taxmen sit ninth with 10 points, having played eight matches this campaign.

On the other hand, Express, who have played a game less, are seventh on the log with 12 points.
