David Odoyo's strike was enough to get Tusker back to winning ways after droping five points in their last two FKFPL games.
Tenacious midfielder David Odoyo's 68th minute strike was enough to give 12-time FKFPL champions Tusker a much needed three points as the Ruaraka-based outfit ran out 1-0 winners over Muhoroni Youth on Saturday.
Tusker had the chance to go ahead in the seventh minute when David Odoyo found space at the edge of the box and struck a low shot but it came off the upright.
Minutes later, James Kibande drifted in from the left, let fly a belter and it rose marginally over the bar.

STARS ABROAD Richard Odada shines as Aalborg secure victory over Koge in Danish second tier league
Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada aids Aalborg's 2-0 victory over HB Koge, propelling them to the top of the NordicBet League.
Moments before half time, Muhoroni Youth had the chance to go ahead through Steven Mbulere, but his left footed shot sailed just wide of the post.
Tusker boss Robert Matano opted to make changes at the break, subbing off Eric Zakayo and Deogracious Ojok for Mike Oduor and Siwa Shapan as he sought to find a way to break through a stubborn Muhoroni Youth defense.
In the 61st minute, Shapan nearly got his side ahead, when he attempted a shot from outside the box that sailed just over the bar.
Moments later, The Brewers could have gone ahead yet again. Eric Kapaito held up the ball well before setting Oduor through on goal, but Owade denied him before parrying it towards Kapaito’s path and then made another excellent save to deny the former Kariobangi Sharks marksman.

AFC Leopards and Kenya Police have both had underwhelming starts to the league season, but each could change their fortunes when they face each other on Saturday afternoon.
Tusker continued looking for a breakthrough, and it finally came in the form of Odoyo, who got on the end of Shapan’s low drilled cross from the right wing after a sequence of passes initiated from playing out from the back ended up in the two substitutes combining together for the goal in the 68th minute.
