Alex Iwobi is one of Everton's standout performers but is set to jump ship from the relegation-threatened side for Fulham.

Nigerian playmaker Alex Iwobi is closing in on a deadline day move away from Premier League Everton. 

Iwobi is reportedly set to return to London with Fulham as the destination for the former Arsenal midfielder. 

Per a Sky Sports report, the Super Eagles playmaker is undergoing medical ahead of a move to Craven Cottage. 

Alex Iwobi is one of the most fashionable Nigerian footballers of the season.

Pulse Sports reported that Iwobi had emerged as a subject of transfer speculation away from Goodison Park after Fulham made an enquiry. 

The Nigerian has been an important part of the Toffees and proved decisive as they narrowly escaped relegation last season.

He scored two goals and assisted seven more for Sean Dyche’s men in 38 matches. 

After two starts in two this season, Iwobi is on his way out of Goodison Park and back to London.

Everton boss, Dyche, spoke on the rumours which he described as ‘noise’.

“It’s all noise at the moment,” he noted when asked about the possibility of the Nigerian leaving on deadline day.
