FKFPL Defender Brian Mandela unveiled among new players at AFC Leopards

The ex-Mwatate United captain signs a 3-year contract with Ingwe, excited to contribute to the team's success.

A group of talented players has been introduced at Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) giants, AFC Leopards, creating waves of excitement and renewed hope among Ingwe fans.

Among the unveiled players is the seasoned former Mwatate United player, Brian Solomon Mandela, who has inked a three-year contract with the twelve-time domestic league champions.

Other notable players who have joined the ranks of AFC Leopards include goalkeeper Abubakar Musha, winger Vincent Mahiga, defender Loren James Sati, and midfielder Shawn Daniel Oloo.

Mandela's journey to AFC Leopards comes after a successful stint as the club captain for the National Super League side, Mwatate United. 

The experienced defender's leadership and on-field prowess are anticipated to be invaluable assets for Ingwe as they strive for glory in the 2023/2024 season.

Upon his official introduction as part of the AFC Leopards family, Mandela expressed his gratitude and excitement.

 "It's an honor to be part of a team of professionals who motivate me to give out my best," he remarked. 

"I am positive that if we work together, we will move to greater heights and make the AFC Leopards family proud. I am ready for my FKF-PL debut." 

Joining Mandela in this thrilling lineup are equally impressive players. Abubakar Musha's arrival from Green Commandos adds depth to the team's goalkeeping department.

Shawn Daniel Oloo, previously associated with Sofapaka and Wazito FC, brings versatility and finesse to the midfield. 

Vincent Mahiga, a winger with a penchant for dazzling dribbles and precise crosses, has joined from Nzoia Sugar FC. 

Hailing from Eldoret, Mahiga's journey to AFC Leopards is marked by his time at St Mark's Boys Cherangani and his previous appearances for Chemelil Sugar FC.

His dynamic playing style is expected to inject creativity and flair into the team's attacking lineup. 

Meanwhile, Loren James Sati's inclusion from Soy United bolsters the defense with his commanding presence at the back.
