Nigeria's Victor Osimhen has been named as a real striker Mikel Arteta and Arsenal must sign if they want to dethrone Manchester City.
Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has urged Mikel Arteta to make a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen if the Gunners want to end Manchester City's Premier League dominance.
World Cup winner Petit believes the Nigeria international would be the perfect signing to bolster Arsenal's frontline as they look to challenge Pep Guardiola's all-conquering side.

World Cup winner wants Osimhen at Arsenal
Osimhen's future at Napoli has been the subject of intense speculation, with the 25-year-old reportedly keen to secure a move to the Premier League this summer.
And Petit believes the powerful Nigerian forward has all the attributes required to spearhead Arsenal's title challenge.
People have also mentioned [Benjamin] Sesko, but I think Arsenal need to look at [Victor] Osimhen at Napoli, this guy has all the character he needs to thrive,' Petit told Bet365 via Dazn.
He will work incredibly hard on the pitch and Arsenal are desperate to get a real striker. Osimhen can hold two central defenders easily.
He can play on the ground, he can play in the air. It will be important as well on set pieces. He would add quality to Mikel Arteta's team.'
Osimhen has a staggering 130 million euro release clause in his Napoli contract, but Petit believes the Nigerian's unique skillset makes him worth the investment.
He's got great ambition and when I mention his character, he reminds me of players who were in the Premier League back in the day, huge characters,' Petit added.
However, Napoli boss Antonio Conte has insisted Osimhen remains part of his plans for the upcoming season, despite the intense speculation surrounding his future.
I spoke to Victor and there are no changes in his situation. He's a top player,' Conte said.
He's a Napoli player today, so he needs to work hard, even if we have an agreement and still we don't know the outcome of this story.'
Whether Arsenal can convince Napoli to part ways with their prized asset remains to be seen, but Petit is in no doubt that Osimhen is the man to help the Gunners topple Manchester City.
