Two Super Eagles stars were on the winning side as Rangers beat Celtic in Scotland
Nigerian stars Cyril Dessers and Leon Balogun were in the starting line up for Rangers as they overcame fierce rivals Celtic in the Old Firm Derby.
Although neither player found the back of the net, they were both impressive as Rangers strained to a 3-2 win after the hosts had initially clawed back from two goals down.
How it happened
Rangers took an early lead through Raskin after only four minutes to set the tone for a dominant first half.
The Gers doubled their lead midway through the first half as Raskin turned provider to set up Mohammed Diomande to make it 2-0.
Although the away side entered the second half with a commanding lead, Celtic were determined to make them work for the three points as they halved the deficit four minutes after the restart through Daizen Maeda.
Celtic were on level terms with fifteen minutes left to play thanks to a fine finish from Reo Hatate that brought the scores to 2-2.
As the match looked to be beading for a draw, Rangers snatched a late winner through Hamza Igamane, who struck in the 88th-minute to seal a 3-2 win for the visitors.
