Didier Drogba vs Samuel Eto'o often sparked debates about who the superior striker was, given their international and club successes as well as individual honours.

Drogba was voted CAF African Player of the Year twice, an award Eto'o won four times. While the former Ivory Coast striker never captained the Elephants to Africa Cup of Nations success, the Cameroon legend claimed two titles in 2000 and 2002.

Both players recorded significant triumphs abroad, underscored by Drogba's four Premier League wins, as many FA Cup victories and one Champions League success.

Eto'o dwarfed that, evidenced by his multiple league wins with Barcelona and Inter Milan and notable treble-winning campaigns in consecutive seasons (Barcelona in 2008-09 and Inter in 2009-10).
