Having initially joined Vipers’ in August 2020 on a three-year deal, he departed late last year after two seasons with allegations of poor attitude and absenteeism without authorisation.

Following a series of reports, David ‘Tong Po’ Bagoole has finally officially completed his return to Uganda Premier League champions Vipers Sports Club.

The hugely talented midfielder has penned a two-year employment contract that will have him at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende at least until 2025.

"I'm happy and excited to be back to Vipers," he started while speaking to the club media on his unveiling on Monday.

"I have learnt my lessons and I will do everything I can to help achieve our goals," he added.

Bagoole in his first spell at Vipers, played 20 league matches and won one Uganda Premier League title, as well as a single Uganda Cup.

After his departure from Kitende, he joined FUFA Big League side Jinja North United on a short-term six-month loan.

Bagoole got off his career at Busembatia before joining SC Villa and Sofapaka in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

He has previously played for La Passe in Seychelles, Police and Baza Holdings.

He has also in past featured for Busoga United in the Uganda Premier League, as well as OC Bukavu Dawa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
