Man United vs Chelsea: 'I know his game' — Chelsea's Maresca ready for tactical battle with Red Devils new boss
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca made an assessment of Manchester United's new managerial hire.
However, he stressed the importance of adapting to such tactics and finding ways to influence the match.
"The next step for Cole is not to get frustrated when teams mark him man to man because all of the best players in the world are man-marked.
"After last season, for him it was the first season in terms of arriving at Chelsea, probably it was the opposite - they weren't too worried about Cole. This year they are all worried because of what he did, so he has to get used to it," Maresca said.
To counter such tactics, Maresca plans to deploy tactical adjustments, such as shifting Palmer's position on the pitch which he used against Newcastle United, where Palmer was deployed on the left flank to avoid close marking.

Chelsea 'eyeing' a move for Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior
Vinicius enjoyed a stellar season with Real Madrid, contributing to their La Liga and Champions League titles.
"The only thing we can do is what we did against Newcastle. We'll move Cole a little bit from his position to give him more time and space.
"The reason he played on the other side that day was because Joelinton would have man-marked him which will happen in so many games," Maresca added.
Maresca believes that new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has the potential to be a successful manager in the Premier League, despite the challenges of adapting to a new league and culture.
