Despite having both Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi on the pitch during the crucial Cup tie, Fulham were second best to the Eagles for the entire match.

How it happened

Crystal Palace booked their spot in the FA Cup semi-finals with a commanding 3-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Returning from injury, Jean-Philippe Mateta made his first start since his horror tackle incident against Millwall in the previous round.

Crystal Palace started strong, with Eberechi Eze opening the scoring with a well-placed strike. Just four minutes later, Eze turned provider, setting up Ismaïla Sarr for Palace’s second goal, leaving Fulham shell-shocked.

The visitors dominated proceedings, and as Fulham pushed forward in search of a response, Palace delivered the final blow.

In the closing stages, Eddie Nketiah capitalised on a defensive lapse, slotting the ball past Bernd Leno at the near post to seal the victory.

The win marks Palace’s third FA Cup semi-final appearance in the last decade. Oliver Glasner’s side will now look ahead to Wembley, aiming to continue their cup run and push for a first FA Cup triumph in the club’s history.
