Premier League: 5 reasons why Arsenal will beat Man City to the title
Arsenal go into another season with the hopes of beating Manchester City to the Premier League title.
Bobb’s injury
According to the Sun, Oscar Bobb fractured his leg during City's training program and it might take him several months to heal.
The injury will see him miss more than a month of football and will not feature in Man City's opening game against Chelsea.
The Norwegian has been in good form heading into the new season and Man City’s assist for Bernardo Silva's late equaliser in the Community Shield.
He was said to be a key component of Pep Guardiola's plans following the Spaniard's approval of Julian Alvarez's £81.5 million move to Atletico Madrid.
After the Community Shield, Guardiola gave the young player props and suggested he would play a more senior role this year.
He said, “We want more. Sometimes he had the chance to take the ball and go and he was a little bit passive.
“He has something unique; be stopped then go, first one or two steps, right or left are unbelievable.
“The goal, how he turns and make the cross, huge quality. He has incredible values and work ethic. He has the ability to do it and he can do it more regularly.”
Despite his impressive preseason and his Community Shield performance, he will not be available for the next month for City.
