Aduku's aim for historic CAF Women's Champions League victory

Head coach Moses Aduku is optimistic about his team's chances as he emphasises taking each game seriously and giving their best effort.

"One of the things I do tell them is that every game should be treated as the only game. The team is good, and everybody is ready to go," Aduku said.

Aduku also highlights the ambition to replicate the success of the Nigerian national team, the Super Falcons.

"I think the women are catching up well in Nigeria. The Falcons are nine-time champions in Africa, and we want to replicate that at the clubside level as well. Nigeria has not won the CAF Women's Champions League, but that is why we are here," he declared.

Tough Opponents, Unwavering Spirit

While acknowledging the challenges they will face, Aduku remains confident.

"We are going with everything. We know our opponents. It's a new game, a new competition, our style of play; you will see it and enjoy it," he said.

Team captain draws inspiration from qualifiers

On her part, the team captain Efemweokiekie Osakpolor echoes the team's motivation, drawing inspiration from their journey to the Champions League.

Edo Queens secured their spot in the finals in Morocco by winning both the Nigeria Women's Champions League and the WAFU B qualifiers.
