A brace from Emem Essien and another goal from Suliat Abideen secured a comfortable win. The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions defeated Benin Republic’s Ainonvi FC 3-0 in the final.

Edo Queens will battle Ainonvi in final at the Stade de la Paix on Friday for WAFU B lone ticket for the Champions League in Cairo.
The team led by Coach Moses Aduku, Edo Queens showcased exceptional dominance throughout the tournament. They began their campaign with a resounding 5-0 victory over AS Garde from Niger and followed it up with a 3-0 win over Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies.
In the semi-finals, they overcame Inter D’Abidjan 2-1, to book their spot in the final.
