CAF has announced that Nigeria's fourth-place finish will still earn them $300,000 in prize money.
The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions, Edo Queens, will earn $300,000, which is currently worth approximately N507,324,000 despite losing their third-place match in the CAF Women's Champions League.

Edo Queens had an impressive run in the Champions League, but it ended with a heartbreaking 4-3 penalty shootout defeat to FC Masar in the bronze medal match after playing 0-0 in the regular time.
The Nigerian side had earlier suffered a 3-1 loss to TP Mazembe in the semi-finals, which dashed their hopes of reaching the final.
