According to reports, Edoardo Bove's mother passed out in the stands after her son collapsed on the field against Inter Milan.
Just 16 minutes into the game, Bove went down unharmed, and referee Daniele Doveri stopped play right away so he could get medical attention.
Bove was observed standing up after leaning over and tying his laces, but he only walked a few feet before passing out.
The midfielder was then surrounded by staff and players before being rushed off the pitch in an ambulance.

Bove’s mum collapses
Another incident that happened immediately after Bove collapsed was his mum also going down to the ground upon seeing her son lifeless on the ground.

According to the Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bove's mother, passed out inside the stadium following the tragic event.
However, she regained consciousness and followed Florence Mayor Sara Funaro down to the treatment room.
According to reports, Bove's father, Giovanni and girlfriend, Martina, went to the hospital right away to check on his condition.

Meanwhile, according to La Repubblica, Bove has regained consciousness and currently responding to treatment.
The physicians have promised that his "life was not in danger" and will reassess him within the next day.
