Ahead of the final group game, Super Eagles stand-in captain William Troost Ekong spoke to the media.
The Al Khoolod defender was asked about the possibility of retiring from the national team according to a report by Making of Champions.
Ekong dismissed the suggestion of retirement stating that he intends to go to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He said, "I am still 31, the next AFCON is just 12 months away, and there's still the 2026 World Cup tournament to look forward to.
"After that, we will see! It's not my decision, (as long as I am still invited by the coaches, I still have much more to give)"

The game between Nigeria and Rwanda will take place on Monday, November 18th, 2024.
