The Blues head coach has predicted what will happen at Stamford Bridge in the next decade.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has expressed his firm belief that the club is poised to dominate English football in the coming decade.
Despite a relatively young squad and a cautious approach to immediate title aspirations, the Italian remains confident in the long-term potential of the team.
The West London club have had a strong start to the season under Maresca, currently sitting in third place in the Premier League, level on points with cross-town rivals Arsenal after 13 games.
However, the head coach has consistently downplayed expectations of a title challenge this year, emphasising the need for the young squad to develop and gain experience.

What Maresca said about Chelsea’s potential
Despite this cautious approach, Maresca revealed that he expressed his bold prediction for Chelsea's future during initial discussions with the club's ownership and sporting directors.
He believes that the current squad, with its blend of youth and talent, has the potential to dominate English football for the next five to 10 years.
"The good thing is that I still think what I said to the owners and sporting director when I first met them,” said Maresca in Tuesday’s press conference.
"Because of the age and how good the squad is, in the next five to 10 years, Chelsea will be the team that will dominate English football.
"This is what I said to the club the first time I met them, no matter who the manager would be. For the next five or 10 years because of the age and the squad, you can dominate English football. I still feel exactly the same."
What next for Chelsea?
Maresca’s side travel to bottom club Southampton on Wednesday, keen to record their eighth win of the Premier League campaign.
