Meanwhile, having been released by Al-Merreikh midway through this year, Kambale has since joined Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.
World football governing body FIFA has instructed Sudanese heavyweight Al-Merreikh to cough millions to Uganda Premier League side Express FC for the transfer of Erick Kenzo Kambale.
Al-Merreikh signed Kambale from Express in August 2022 on a two-year employment contract and were reportedly set to pay to the tune of USD 45,000 (170 million shillings).
However, per multiple reports, the side only paid USD 20,000 (75 million shillings) on August 20 and agreed to pay the other sums eight days later.
It's over a year since the contract was signed and Al-Merreikh is yet to clear the arrears.
