He left the country to Sudan's El-Merrikh after netting 33 goals across four seasons where he clinched the UPL and the CECAFA Kagame Cup titles.

At El-Merrikh, Kambale, who is now a free agent, didn't realize his full potential as he had limited playing time.

The club axed him from their 2023/24 squad and looked to seal a deal to Egypt's Cleopatra Ceramica, before it fell through over unknown reasons.

At Vipers, he will become the eighth signing of the window after Grant Matsiko, Richard Matovu, David Bagoole, Patrick Mbowa, Mohamed Salem Ekbad, Fumador Asiwome and Allan Okello.

He will vie for a starting berth with the likes of Asiwome, Salem, Yunus Sentamu among other forwards.
