EURO 2024: Super Eagles and 2 other teams Michael Olise can play for after France snub

Michael Olise of Crystal Palace was recently dropped out of France's squad for the forthcoming EURO 2024 competition in Germany.

The talented midfielder has been in superb form for his club this season scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists in just 18 Premier League matches.

However, despite his recent form, he was left out of the France National team squad by Didier Deschamps.

With the forward missing out on the EURO 2024 tournament, we take a look at other countries the Crystal Palace star is eligible to represent.

Aside from France, the Crystal Palace winger is eligible to represent Nigeria, England and Algeria on national team level.

Nigeria

Crystal Palace winger, Michael Olise is still eligible to represent Nigeria and play for the Super Eagles at the international level.

The eligible Nigerian forward was born in London to a Nigerian father makes him qualified to play for the Super Eagles.

The winger will be a solid inclusion for the Super Eagles team as they prepare for the upcoming tournament.

England

Olise's birthplace is London, England, hence he is qualified to represent the Three Lions national team.

England are yet to release their squad for the upcoming EURO 2024 which will be held in Germany and begins in June.

The Palace winger could still make it to the England National team since he is eligible to play for the Three Lions.

Algeria

Olise is also eligible to represent the Algerian national team in international tournaments after being born to an Algerian mother.

The forward has the option to play for The Desert Warriors after being snubbed by France's head coach Deschamps.

Algeria could also consider calling up the Palace star for their preparation for the World Cup qualifiers and the AFCON tournament next year.

His inclusion in their squad could boost the team's chances of performing well in the upcoming tournaments.
