Leicester City completed a sensational comeback as they scored three goal in the second-half to beat Southampton.
He got his big break in 2022 when he was signed by Southampton, and after an underwhelming season, he dropped with the Saints to the Championship. Russell Martin’s side are back in the bright lights of the Premier League and Aribo has a goal for the campaign.
What Aribo said
The former Rangers man has slowly played his way to form this season, scoring two matches ago against Leicester and performing brilliantly last time out against Manchester City.
Speaking in a recent interview, he revealed that his goal is to show the world he is a quality Premier League-level footballer, and he believes he has the quality to stamp his authority on the division.
“I want to mark my stamp as a Premier League footballer—that’s a dream of mine,” Aribo said, per Brila.
“I just want to be acknowledged as a very good player; nothing too crazy, but I know what I am capable of. I know the abilities I have, and I believe my purpose is to showcase them for the world to see.”
